Too many news websites, blogs and social networks are filled with hateful comments (like the one above) directed at immigrants. A casual reader would think that these bitter, shrill and often-racist comments represent the majority of Americans. We all know that is simply not the case.
Volunteering just 1 hour of your web-surfing time every week can make a huge difference in changing the public debate on immigration.
The fact is that an overwhelming majority of Americans support comprehensive immigration reform. It’s time to take the discussion back from the extremist minority.

My husband came from Mexico when he was 18 years old so he could work and spport his elderly parents and he always tried to get legal but beause of 1 missed court date he became an illegal and the same people who are spouting their ugly tirade of words would probably ount my husband as 1 of their friends their ot really that against immigration their just jumping on the bandwagon of haters
